Our history is made up of the stories of so many people that left one place to go to another. There were so many reasons to move and so many things to just get through and survive until you found just the right place to call "home"! A funny thing about this song is that it woke me up one morning sounding like a good, old country fiddle tune - then the words just tumbled out! I actually worked it out on my Ukelin and that's one of the instruments you hear on the recording!
