Bright yellow sunbeam, come dance on the earth.
The corn's standing high in the fields.
Ripen the apples that grow on the trees,
the bounty that summertime yields,
The juicy red berries that grow in the wood
and fishes that play in the stream.

Orange and gold, all the leaves tumble down
as summertime comes to an end.
Its time for the harvesting work to be done,
for now there's a change in the wind.
The green fields of hay are now stubbled and brown,
and morning brings frost on the sill.

as autumn winds blow in a chill.

Lacy white snowflake drift down from the sky
and melt on the end of a nose.
There's long scarves and mittens and big, fluffy socks
to warm up our fingers and toes.
Our breath makes a white cloud that hangs in the air.
